Okay I appreciate my tiger and all, but as it is HA is much better reward wise than TA/RA. The chest, more faction, the fact you can run it reasonably well with your own heros, etc etc.

But the biggest thing that seperates HA from TA/RA is the emoticon. I see people with rank 8 gladiator and they did all that for what? Shouldnt they have an emoticon too? Its commonly considered harder for someone to get rank 3 glad than rank 3 hero (because this is fact - it is harder), yet there is hardly any reward in braving hours of retarded RA teams for that next glad level.

I understand RA is popular and that if there werent emotes probably HA would be empty but still. Just because no one would play HA if not for fame, doesnt mean TA/RA should be neglected. If ppl had an emote to go after maybe we wouldnt see so many griefers and stupid builds in RA.

I totally agree, as well as emotes for all the other pvp titles. Although I do think the people at Anet realize that it harder, because you get 5k increased max faction. Theres no reason that only HA gets emotes.

Leave RA for casual pvp play. Making the rewards too appealing encourages farming and grinding, and promotes the "no point in playing if I can't win 10 times in a row" mentality. I already dislike RA giving glad points because of all the competitiveness it brought. RA used to be a place where you could go for some mindless pvp fun when you had 15 skills unlocked. Sure, you would get a lot of leavers, but not *nearly* as much as you do these days because you're not worthy of the competitive level that the glad point farmers expect of their team to get the 10 wins.

I do believe that gladiator titles should have emotes. By the time a player is rank 5 he or she would have earned enough gladiator points to unlock all skills in every profession in all three campaigns and Balthazar points will no longer be rewarding.

I agree that this is what would happen but I dont think this is good logic. Why should other things be LESS rewarding just so HA look better in comparison. Why not make HA better (it hasnt changed a bit since the very start), not make other things worse so HA will be relatively not so bad?

I remember back when fame was just a little number in the character sheet before emoticons and halls were pretty much ragtag teams. Those were actually the best days. The emoticon hurt the quality of fun had in halls IMO. Nowadays its all heroway or rit spike or bloodspike or whatever the flavor of the month is.

HA is dead in the U.S now, which is why Europe always had favor most of the day. Old times: Tomb of Kings had 6 districts US, Present time: 1 empty district of HA. Everything should have an emote I saye, makes it more fun. Which is better for casual gamers because most titles are for PvE anyways. You'll need a bigger hook to get people to play HA with all the gimmick around. No casual or even a decent player wants to play in HA anymore.

The problem I see is that many that obtain rank in this title track, don't deserve this, as they've gotten there by ragequitting.
Fix the problem of ragequitters in RA 1st, then talk about emotes.

Hell no. An emote for abandoning people because you don't have a monk? Eliminate glad points from RA, and make the title start at R6, and maybe I'll approve (I'm R4, so I'm not making a suggestion to benefit myself-- I'd just as soon have all titles reset as well). RA never should have been allowed a friggin' title, much less an emote.

Right now the title has the most rediculous bonus imaginable. All you get from being a gladiator, literally hundreds of hours competing, is more max faction.. by the time your rank 2 glad, you have every single skill unlocked and item, hero..there's no use for faction and our reward is more faction. It's like double exp events..

I don't see the negative effects from giving glad's an emote. there will always be leavers this won't make that much worse. give us somethin to show for so many hours of work. Everytime some guy does his little tiger move in RA, makes me think man I've probably won more in this arena than you why do you get to show off? oh well not the end of the world.. an emote would be nice though.
